About Us
Two Maids prioritizes customer service and quality
At Two Maids, our goal is to make a difference in people's daily lives. We help busy families maintain beautiful, clean and healthy homes and take care of the chores that no one has the time or energy to do. We proudly serve our customers so they can focus on what matters most to them.
Two Maids actively supports the "Cleaning for a Reason" organization, which offers free housecleaning to people undergoing cancer treatment. Most of us have experienced cancer first-hand and we know that the kindness and service of others is a blessing that can provide some comfort and peace of mind in challenging times. Two Maids is proud to play a small part in that effort. We also partner with Alliance for Hope International to help provide support and care for survivors of domestic violence.
At Two Maids, we endeavor to build dedicated and honest teams that looks forward to caring for your home. We know that providing our Professional House Cleaners with a growth plan, healthy compensation, and an environment that fosters encouragement and compassion will result in happier employees that can better meet or exceed our customers expectations.
Two Maids cherishes the value people with disabilities bring to all aspects of life and we strive to ensure access to employment opportunities and our services where possible. We work diligently to align our websites and web applications with the latest Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). We work to keep pace with these ever-evolving standards because we recognize their importance in making the digital world a more accessible environment for those with disabilities. Our Peoria Team
Hello and thank you for visiting our ‘About’ page.
My name is Gail Gallant-Treat, I am the proud owner and operator of Two Maids of Peoria, that's me in the white hat, and my wife Genea (a.k.a. Jay) in the black hat is my business partner. Jay is a logistics manager by trade and has been in the logistics/transportation industry for 30+ years. She continues to work her full-time job, and her “side gig” is helping me around the office doing the fun stuff like laundry and shopping.
I come from a career of over 25 years in Corporate America, mostly IT and Business Operations. While I have held many roles in my career, the ones I enjoyed most were those in which I led business teams, operations teams, and technology teams together through collaboration to generate solid system and software solutions and enhance business value for both internal and external customers alike.
In 2022 I made the decision to leave corporate America, taking with me all the business/operations knowledge and leaderships skills to start a new chapter in my life, owning my own cleaning business. Having my own cleaning business has always been a dream of mine, despite my friends calling me crazy. I have always had a passion for cleaning, whether it be my home or in friends and families' homes. I don't find it to be a knockdown drag out chore, for me, I find it rather a rewarding and fulfilling process that I want to share with those who may not enjoy it as much as I do, simply don't want to do it, or have busy lives and schedules that don’t allow them the time to manage cleaning too.
We are proud to be a part of the Two Maids franchise family because not only does it allow me to fulfil the dream of serving my customers, serving and developing teams of hardworking, dedicated, passionate and caring PHC's, it also allows me to give back to my community in ways that have personally impacted some of the most important people in my life... we get the privilege to partner with a charity called Cleaning for a Reason and together we provide free housecleaning for individuals currently undergoing any type of cancer treatment. If you know of anyone who could benefit from this type of service, please reach out to us so we can work on a plan to chip in and take some of the load off.
My ultimate goal is to give you your time back by providing you with a service that you will not find anywhere else, through a team of dedicated, caring, hardworking, trusted and knowledgeable Professional House Cleaners (PHC’s).
It will be our pleasure to take this “not so popular chore” off your hands, and I look forward to hearing how we can help you "Let Life Shine"!
With Love,
Gail & Jay
